Biography
Nice to meet you! As certain events take place in my life, I find so much joy in updating this page accordingly. Today I'm happy to say I am a small business owner! Establishing The Olivera Company has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. My professional journey has shaped my eye for branding, elevated my approach to aesthetics, and strengthened my ability to manage with intention.
In 2020 I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Public Relations and a minor in English - Creative Writing. During my time in college, I discovered my passion for brand storytelling.
Over the past 8 years, I've gained extensive work experience in public relations. My first internship took place during my first summer of college in 2018 with Savanna Real Estate Fund. I was honored to work with the investor relations team and focused on marketing research for the Core Plus Project.
During the summer of 2020, I was fortunate to be offered an internship with Rubenstein Public Relations. I wrote press releases for ALTR Created Diamonds, conducted social media audits for Ticker Tocker, and created content calendars for Robinson Brog. Because of this experience, I’ve developed the skills and expertise to enter the communications field.
Following graduation week, I began working as a Marketing Specialist for Qualfon, a business outsourcing company. During my two years there, I created most of their external-facing communications, including press releases, blogs, social media posts, and written content for the Mission Qualfon Podcast.
During the summer of 2022, I decided to take a chance on becoming a business owner on Etsy. After taking a year's worth of courses and conducting extensive research, I opened up Radiant Threads Co! We sold embroidered goods, print-on-demand gifts, and accessories. This is where I learned how to build a cohesive brand from the visual identity to the messaging, which ultimately led me to take on clients like What2WearWhere.
